My PME Classes

Hi,
I said at the beginning that I was going to talk about classes I have attended during my cake journey
but something or the other always derailed that.

So here we go -the Knightsbridge PME course.

I had heard so much about it and decided now or never,I narrowly missed the course before so I just took the plunge.

It was definitely worth it,I learned a lot and our tutor for the 5 weeks was Pauline Moody. She has this standing joke I'm really a cheerful person not moody at all.She was lovely and patient and really knowledgeable.

The clases were split into 3,Sugar flowers, sugarpaste and Royal icing and piping.
You could take them all or not.

I decided to do all three at once and be done with it.

The class I loved most was my Sugarpaste class,I always looked forward to it every week, the classes were held one day a week for 5 consecutive weeks,so three days a week I was at the school in Romford.

A 2 tier wedding cake

Bride and groom.

Clown

Rocking horse

A Baby dress cake

The one I found most challenging was Royal icing that needed precision and a very steady hand.

The sugarflowers class I also loved.

Every week we did something different.

The school has two branches in London-one in Enfield and one in Romford.

Throughout your 5 weeks course, you got a 10% discount in the shop which was right beneath the class, the factory is also in the same premises.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable course.

I will tell you about another class next time

See you next time

Shols.
